The C308 is built off of a mishmash of Cetme and HK parts. Those parts are compatible, but need more fitment and finish to mesh properly. Fit and finish is something Century is notoriously poor at. The PTRs are built from the ground up off of surplussed HK G3 tooling, if I recall correctly, and it shows. Just a heads up, the C308 is essentially a clone of the Spanish CETME Modelo C, which was the predecessor to the G3. Notable differences between the CETME C and the G3 are the rear sights (notch style vs diopter), different bayonet interface (lug vs socket), and finally mags look different between the two but are interchangeable..
